BMW to continue its EV momentume

Vikram Pawah, President & CEO, BMW Group India, told ET that globally

We want to bring all of them to India

The German carmaker currently sells four electric vehicles locally

company is set to launch 12 full electric vehicles by 2025

Pawah said customer response to the company’s range of electric vehicles

EVs account for 11% of our order intake this year

We expect EVs to comprise 15% of our sales in the short-term

So far this year, we have already sold more EVs than the whole of last year

BMW India sold 218 EVs until last week in 2023
