Germany and Israel Announce Signing of 'Historic' Missile Shield Deal
Germany and Israel have signed a historic deal for Germany to purchase the Arrow 3 missile
The deal is worth approximately $3.5 billion and is the largest ever arms export deal for Israel.
The Arrow 3 system is capable of intercepting ballistic missiles at high altitudes, outside of the atmosphere.
The system will be integrated into Germany's existing air defense system
The deal was signed in Berlin on Thursday by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius
