Hyundai has launched the Exter, its smallest and most affordable SUV in our market,

with introductory prices starting from Rs 6 lakh and going up to Rs 10 lakh

 for the top-spec trim (all prices ex-showroom, India).

The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder petrol .

engine that produces 83hp and 114Nm of peak torque

that is shared with other models such as the Nios, i20 and Venue.

Gearbox options include either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. 

In the CNG-spec, it produces 69hp and 95.2Nm
