Maruti Baleno rival 2023 Hyundai i20 launched at Rs 6.99 lakh: Check out price, engine specs and features

Hyundai has launched the 2023 i20 in India with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new i20 comes with a host of updates and features.

The car is available in four variants - Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).

The i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque.

The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard, while a CVT automatic is available as an option.

The car also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque.

The diesel engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new i20 comes with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, BlueLink connected car technology, and more.

The car also gets safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and more.

The i20 will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza.
