India Aims to Deploy Indigenous long-Range Air Defence System

ndia is planning to deploy its own long-range air defence system by 2028-2029. The system, known as the Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LR-SAM)

developed under Project Kusha by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

and ballistic missiles. It has a range of over 350 km and can operate at altitudes of up to 20 km.
