The current building of Parliament has a seating capacity of 550 in Lok Sabha and 250 in Rajya Sabha

In the newly constructed building of Parliament, 888 members of the Lok Sabha and 384 members of the Rajya Sabha have been arranged

The joint session of both the Houses will be held in the Lok Sabha chamber itself
