Renault Announces Eight New Models for Global Debut

Renault, the French automaker, is all set to launch eight new models outside Europe by 2027. These new models will be based on two new platforms and will be targeted at the C and D segments. 

Renault aims to sell one out of three vehicles in electric or hybrid versions outside Europe by 2027. This move is part of Renault's "International Game Plan 2027

Here are some things to know about the Renault eight new models

C, D segment models

Five of the eight new models will be C and D segment models. This is to position the Renault brand in the segments that create the most value.

Three B segment

 The remaining three new models will be B segment models. The B segment is the most popular segment in many markets outside Europe.

Two new platforms:

The eight new models will be based on two new platforms. These platforms are designed to be flexible and cost-effective.

hybrid versions

All of the eight new models will be available in electric or hybrid versions. This is in line with Renault's goal of selling one 

Global launch

 The eight new models will be launched globally, with a focus on markets outside Europe. This is part of Renault's plan to make the brand more global 

Affordable prices

Renault is known for its affordable vehicles, and the eight new models are expected to be no exception. 

Safety

Safety is a top priority for Renault, and the eight new models will come with a variety of safety features, including airbags, anti-lock brakes
