Toyota Innova HyCROss electrified flex-fuel MPV launched in India by Nitin Gadkari

Toyota has launched the world's first electrified flex-fuel MPV, the Innova HyCROss, in India.

The launch was done by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways.

The Innova HyCROss is powered by a 2.8-litre petrol engine and an electric motor.

It can run on petrol, ethanol, or a combination of both.

The MPV has a fuel efficiency of 15.10 km/litre and an electric-only range of 10 km.

It has a total power output of 164 PS and a torque of 245 Nm.

The Innova HyCROss comes with features like regenerative braking, hill start assist, and vehicle stability control.

It also has a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a rearview camera.

The MPV is priced at Rs 21.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Toyota plans to introduce more electrified vehicles in India in the future.
